Email Address

Please indicate if you willing to receive Club communications such as newsletters, notices of events, etc, by email. This will enable us to send out information morequickly and will also help keep our administration costs down. Notices will be sent out as text messages; newsletters and similar documents will be sent in Adobe Acrobat format.

Playing Right Ticket

Members who intend to play more than one round of golf per week may find it more economical to apply for annual Playing Right Ticket as an alternative to paying Green Fees on the day – see Membership Fees. Green Fees are payable to the Adelaide Shores Golf Park Pro Shop.

Club Competitions

Once you have been allocated a Handicap (men require five cards; women require three), you are eligible and welcome to enter Club Competitions. Your intention to play Competition Golf is one of the criteria for obtaining Playing Rights.

Constitution and Rules

Copies of the Constitution and Rules of the Westward Ho Golf Club Incorporated are available from the Secretary/Manger.

Payment of Fees

A Nomination Fee of $55.00 (including GST) is payable on application and will be deducted from your Joining Fee on acceptance. Should an application be rejected, the Nomination Fee will be refunded in full.

A Joining Fee of $330.00 (including GST) is payable on acceptance. Most Members choose to pay this over three years in three equal installments of $110.00. Junior Members under 15 years of age may extend this Joining Fee payment over a longer period – please contact the Secretary/Manager for more information.

The Annual Membership is due and payable by the commencement of the Playing Season, 1 April each year – see Schedule of Fees.
Members joining through the year pay pro rata Membership and Playing Right fees based on the number of months left in the Playing Season (eg, a member joining in September would pay 7/12 of the fees). The Joining Fee installment would be paid in full.

All playing members, including Junior/Student members, pay Affiliation Fees which are forwarded to the South Australian Golfing Association (SAGA) or Women’s Golf South Australia (WGSA).

Members over the age of 18 also pay a Bar Levy of $50.00; in return they receive ten $5.00 for use in the Members or Sprig Bar.

Fees may be paid by cash, personal cheque or VISA/Mastercard. Please note that the Club does not accept American Express or Diners Club cards.
