The Club's activities are governed by a well defined Constitution and is managed by a Board of Management comprising:

3. Courses and Facilities
The two courses which are available to Club members are maintained and administered by Adelaide Shores on behalf of the West Beach Trust.

Our modern clubrooms are located at the entrance to the Adelaide Shores Golf Park.

4. Club History
The present (and second) Westward Ho Golf Club was founded in 1957 following public meetings in the Glenelg Town Hall in July and August of that year. These meetings were attended by representatives of the West Beach Recreational Reserve Trust, the South Australian Golf Association, and about sixty members of the public. Six weeks after the inaugural meeting, the new club played its first competition on Saturday 15 September 1957.

The original club was disbanded in 1955, only three years after its formation.

The Westward Ho Golf Club Inc published their 50 year history book in 2007. Copies are available for purchase at the Office or the Bar for $15-.
